yeah. Here in Germany, if I felt like it, I can easily look up COVID_19 data for my neighbourhood, & also see how many ICU beds are occupied, even how many ECMO units are currently in used.

10 dead *in total* (so far).
8 in hospital *at moment*.
318 confirmed infections *in total*.
From those, 285 recovered.

1/n If I go to the local town council page for this, @Alheri, I get *immediate and accurate statistics on #COVID19 in my district (screenshot below; clicking on points on the graph gives me exact numbers).

3/n Then on this site for all of Germany, @Alheri, in its interactive map (they even have an English-language version, the link for which I give here), w/ mouse-overs & clicks I can get immediate ICU/ECMO/general_bed hospital situation all around me.

4/n @Alheri, the Bethanian hospital here is the one they use for all #COVID19 patients throughout this district, AFAIK, keeping the other hospitals free for other patients.

5/n and yeah, the local town council here in Germany get ALL statistics, including test reports, trace reports, relevant to them.
Unlike in Britain, @Alheri, where I know the present situation is dire and untenable for town councils, and renders effective action very difficult.

6/n For the state I live in, @Alheri, North Rhine - Westphalia, I can easily get a very up-to-date map on new #COVID19 infections.
