To be a good politician you will have to consciously & consistently attenuate your humanity. This is why the good intents of the people we once loved evaporate once they get into political offices under our derelict system designed to work only for the 1%. #ThinkAboutIt ⛱ 
Now you understand why folks stampeded to power based on bogus promises and impractical policies end up having no mandate in office. They connect to nothing beyond the blur of their ambition. This is why they hate anyone succeeding where they have failed to connect with hearts.
Animals are not capable of murder. They kill for food or defense of their turf when threatened but murder requires malicious intent. Suffice to say that the breed of monsters our politicos are raising in the identity politics of hate culture are worse than beasts.
Ideally, human idiosyncrasies suggest that we all have our preferences & dynamics. Just because I won’t support something doesn’t & shouldn’t mean that I hate people involved in it. We still share humanity and ought to be tolerant. It’s the emotional intelligent approach.
When people ask that I run for office simply because we’ve been indoctrinated to believe once you’ve mastered the art of kindness in altruistic service, one must be rewarded with a position at the peak of a political pyramid. But refuse to compromise my integrity & conviction.
I found myself early in life so I know who I am & certainly not as impressionable as people may think. I can’t be easily influenced because of my commitment to purpose & the uncanny ability to bridge the gap between different points of views. I know when people are projecting.
I also understand the reason behind the request which is not short of people’s yearning for a representative leadership that serves in the interest of the people. But I’ve argued that this can’t be achieved by the strong man approach but from strong institution purview.
I’m saying we all have something unique to give rather than treat our political system like a Big Brother TV show without apprehension of the consequences. Our motivation matters in every sociopolitical decision we perfunctorily make for our children’s sakes.
