I remember running that first qPCR to test a hypothesis @prokuninaolsson had, but couldnt test right away since her lab was shut. After a lot of hard work by her group and the whole team, and great zoom meetings, we have learned a lot but still more to understand! 2/3
dACE2 is NOT found in non-primates and therefore helps explain why Ace2 was not an ISG in mouse experiments. It also means IFN #COVID19 therapies should not promote the full length ACE2 receptor used by #SARSCoV2 ! 3/3
