It's the 55th day of continued protests in Portland, and here's the scene now outside the Justice Center. The "Wall of Moms" is back, in yellow. (video by @noellecrombie)

Candice Jimenez, member of the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, said she came out to protest after the deployment of federal agents: “We have been dealing with that for 500 years. We understand the trauma, the terrorism and the harm it causes.”
Debbie Scott of Beaverton, first time protester: "I wanted to come down and give my support as a mother and grandmother to all these people who have been out every night."
Jill Jordan of Hillsboro: “I’ll say the last straw for me was seeing the moms tear-gassed."
Travis Nelson said nightly demonstrations had tapered off, then the federal response reenergized the movement: “This is still America. Citizens have the right to protest."
Some protesters outside the federal courthouse are holding up plywood shields, as if they’re waiting for federal agents to come out.
Some fiddlin' outside the federal courthouse as well:

At 11:10 p.m., federal officers used gas, stun grenades and less-lethal munitions outside the federal courthouse. About a dozen other officers gathered at Third & Madison. A crowd shouted at them, “Who do you protect? Who do you serve?” Officers set off gas near that crowd.
From a bit earlier, here's the reaction as federal officers moved inside the Edith Green-Wendell Wyatt Federal Building:
