So I got here a bit later then planned, but I can hear cheers and chanting and “Black Lives Matter” from two blocks away
The moms have a shield wall
The crowd is really big. Just to reiterate this is a Tuesday night 
Chanting and music
On the porch of the courthouse a shield wall and moms are lining up
These moms are ready
“ACAB all cops are bastards!”
Third is completely full of people in front of both the justice center and the federal courthouse filling the parks behind them
Someone beats on a door and a mom in the line yells “lets go motherfuckers!”
Trees came out
Face off on Madison

Feds in front of the courthouse go back inside pushed by a shield wall
On the other side of the park people go join the line which extends the length of the park down Madison
And they also retreat back into the IRS building
Moms and drummers holding the line when the feds emerged from the courthouse
Moms and shields refusing to be moved
And the umbrella should wall
Can I mention how nice it is to get reassurance from @MrOlmos when I am filming and realize that there is a gap I’m my respirator seal
“Black Lives Matter!” The crowd of protesters is now once again filling third
So there was a fire at the courthouse
Tear gas added by feds to the fire
So much gas
Kinda dystopian
This man got shot in the head and was yelling at the feds to do it again
And the feds shoot at them
And shoot at them more
People seem unquelled as fireworks are shot at the feds
And now there are 500 or so people still dancing in front of the courthouse.
A fence to keep the feds in.
“Black Lives Matter!”
Plywood is coming down from the courthouse. This will make it less flammable
“Fuck you feds!”
Something was broken
People cheer as more plywood comes down
They come out of the courthouse hitting people with sticks
The federal LEOs caught riot ribs on fire. But protesters race to the blaze and extinguished it
The shield wall holding the line for the protesters
“This is the people of Portland, this has been declared an unlawful facist invasion, please get out of our city and fuck off back to wherever you came from”
The shield wall advances
“This is not a riot! It’s a REVOLUTION!”
The street behind the shield wall has filled in and has been at a standoff with a line of feds for a while now
The federal LEOs make some kind of unintelligible announcement
The shield wall seems unimpressed and doesn’t move
The feds push
Pulling people out of a car
Protesters got pushed back to 5th. The feds released some green smoke and retreated. Protesters followed with more barricad materials back into the park. The crowd is about 200 maybe now.
Much love tonight to the Portland Press Corps who are still out and in the gas when other went home hours ago. This reporter is calling it but @MrOlmos @PDocumentarians and @LindseyPSmith7 are still out.
