This is one QAnon's biggest public groups with 202,000 members. The groups has had over 1 million interactions since Januray. Note how their content jumped around March and April, at the peak of the coronavirus pandemic - interactions via @crowdtangle
Here's another public group, with 195,000 members. It's generared 10.2 million interactions since January. Notice how its membership spiked at the early stages of the pandemic in the US. There have been 253,000 posts on the group since January - via @crowdtangle
This QAnon-themed public group has 28,900 members. Since January, it's generated 1.8 million engagements. Agian, a massive spike in interacation rate during in March/April. In total, 56,000 posts have been recorded since January - via @crowdtangle
This one has 20,400 members. It's another public group. 1.1 million total engagements for its content since January. There have been over 33,000 posts in the group in that period
This one has 36,900 members. There have been over 60,000 posts on the group since January and those posts have generated 1.9 million engagements. The group's membership massively spiked in March - via @crowdtangle
This one has 21,000 members and has produced 15,000 posts since January. Some 191,000 engagements have been generated for those posts
This one has just over 47,000 members. There have been 507,000 interactions for its content since January. Once again, the group's membership has significantly grown during the pandemic
"This group was created for disclosure of all things pizzagate". It has 36,200 members. There have been 25,000 posts in the group since January, generating 967,000 engagements
This one has 58,300 members. The group's content has generated 1.1 million total interactions since January. Its membership, pretty much like the others, has gone up because of the pandemic
This is a relatively new group with 25,000 members, created in mid-May. It has since generated 438,000 interactions for nearly 17,000 posts
This one is a page with 160,000 followers. Primary location according to page transparency: Poland. 12,000 posts in the last six months with 613,000 engagements in total
I've put total interactions from all those 13 QAnon gorups and pages since January into @crowdtangle intelligence to see just how big they are when added together. They have produced over 532,000 posts in total, with (ready?) 22.4 million engagements overall; 22.4 million!!!
Narrow down the search period to 1 March - 24 July. Total interactions for 13 QAnon groups/pages: 21.5 million. Total number of posts: 519,000. Clearly, their content - including anti-vaxx and anti-mask posts - and interaction rate saw a massive spike after the pandemic hit
And finally, the combined membership of these QAnon groups: 759,000. Obviously, these are not unique members, as a user might have joined all of these groups, I have. But Facebook or anyone else cannot claim or pretend these are anything but HUGE numbers.
Again, these are only 13 QAnon-themed groups. @4ngl3rf1sh has already recorded 184 groups and 120 pages. That's over 300. Imagine the overall numbers for those of we could measure them 😬
Also, as @SillyRobin points out, the reason the spike in this graph - and a couple more in the thread - looks a bit weird is because the group was only recently added to @crowdtangle data. So it cannot go back in time to gaguge interaction rates for a newly-added group
