This is the ending of an age, not the world. What this means is that the world you grew up in is not the world your children will. Dont prepare your children for the world of the 00's,80's or 50's. Prepare them & yourself for the 30's & 40's in a modern context

For yourself and/or family. You need to be AGGRESSIVELY eliminating debt, learning new VALUABLE skills and developing multiple streams of income. If you still have a job look at the industry/profession you work in. Will it survive a BIG economic downturn?

If your industry will survive will your position? are you valuable enough to the company and/or to the larger industry to be considered a major asset/necessity? If not start to branch out and learn

If you are an employee start to learn other peoples jobs, become backups for them and without stepping on toes become a asset to mulitple departments. You may, in a downturn be able to pitch to your boss that if they keep you you can take the responsibilites of 1,2,3 others

Im not in stocks in any real fashion, my cash has been on the sidelines for a year or so and was able to make 117% gains in march/april buying up stocks like after they recovered i got back out except for precious metals and #Bitcoin

I dont think you should have any real exposure of your portfolio to the market right now outside of Gold/Silver since its not worth risking a 40% drop for a 8-12% gain.

I recommend having at least 10% of your net worth in precious metals as a hedge and in PHYSICAL form, ETF's are fine for speculating/hedging your portfolio but physical is key. I love Bitcoin, i think its better than cash or Gold, but Gold ISNT going away.

Prepare your children for the world they will live in, give them the gift of critical thinking, of real life skills, teach them what will help them thrive in basically 1940's with internet. Im not 100% sure war will come but conflict of some sort will inevitably occur

I wouldnt live in major cities, but you dont have to live in the sticks either. You can find smaller cities of >100,000 that have almost all the amenities of a larger city as well as infrastructure.

If you dont own a firearm, buy one. If your partner, older children dont know how to shoot, teach them. If you dont know get lessons. I'm not saying youll need one to wolverine style fight the russians, but during economic downturns crime rates skyrocket.

Also learn from this cycle thats occuring. recognize the patterns in history that laid this ending of an age out and recognize the small micro patterns within your own life, country, county, etc. It isnt prophecy anymore than predicting a menstrual cycle.

There is going to be massive changes, politically and culturally. You can heed this advice and help you and your family ride it out with fewer waves on your boat or you can just pretend 1998/2018 is how things have and always will be
