7.The temple has a pond called Porthamarai Kulam means Golden Lotus pond .Interesting part of the pond is that Lotus grows in it has a hue of Golden Colour .
8.The temple attracts approximately 15000 visitors a day .The numbers increases to 25000 on Friday.
