As an entrepreneur, the first thing you must be aware of is that your staff will steal from you.

I don't care if they are on sabbatical from heaven, or if they know how to recite all the Holy Books from back to back.

If they have the slightest opportunity, they will fleece you
I was a bit depressed overnight, after an episode on the farm, but whole chatting with a Chinese associate, she mentioned that stealing is her number one problem as a manager (even in China!).

All humans will steal.

Be prepared for it, and put measures in place to curb it.
I'm no longer enraged when I hear of Indians, Lebanese & Chinese that treat our people like animals when they employ them

Allow a human being the slightest space & they will loot your business to death

Never trust anyone

Set the staff against each other

Gather information
Your first responsibility as an entrepreneur is the survival of your business.

You are not a charity.

Be ruthless

But be compassionate and reward good ethics and behavior.
