1/ THREAD: Body Language Analysis of Bill Barr: Testimony before the House Judiciary Committee on 28 July 2020: 
2/ What follows is a body language and statement analysis of a crucial exchange between Rep. Jerry Nadler and Bill Barr.
3/ Jerry Nadler: Have you disgusted the President's re-election campaign with the President, or with any White House official, or any surrogate of the President?
Barr: Well, I'm not going to get into my discussions with the President.
Barr: Well, I'm not going to get into my discussions with the President.
4/ Just as he says, "...I'm not going", Barr displays a microexpression of a partial mouth smile. This is coupled with an Elevated Central Forehead Contraction. These two facial expressions together, in this context, is highly indicative of deception.
5/ Then, in this same sentence, as he says, "President", Barr displays a microexpression of Fear. Note the corners of his mouth pulled back and downward. Please watch this portion of the testimony as still images do not capture the full dynamics of these behaviors.
6/ Nadler then asks: Have you disgusted that topic with him — yes or no?
Barr responds: Not in, not in relation to this program.
Nadler: I didn't ask that. I asked if you discussed that [interrupped by Barr]
Barr responds: Not in, not in relation to this program.

7/ Immediately after Barr says, "program", Barr blinks extremely rapidly and for an extended duration. This behavior is highly correlative with anxiety. Moreover, Barr exhibits this tell during numerous past documentable deceptions.
8/ Following his blinking — Barr displays yet another microexpression, this one characterizing his regret (realizing his mistake as Nadler catches him in his deception — Barr answered a question he was not asked & fell for this common trap for which all attorneys should be wary).
9/ Note the degree to which Barr plays with his pen. It's easier to lie when the hands are so well occupied. Thus, 'busy hands' are both anxiety-tells as well as a mechanisms to more skillfully deceive.
10/ Summary: Bill Barr's Body Language & paralanguage behavior (statement analysis) indicates he's lying and that he has indeed discussed Trump's reelection with Trump — and specifically as Trump's campaign/reelection is directly tied with the actions of 'Operation Legend'.
