Worse, when people get results back 6-10 days later, many may erroneously assume they are free of virus on the day of results. This will create a false sense of security

And positive results 6, 10, 14... days later will send contact tracers down largely difficult and useless paths looking for people who may have been infected perhaps weeks earlier.

With 6-10, or 15 day turnaround times, may as well just wait 10 days and get an antibody test.
It'll give you more information that could actually be useful (including if you've been infected recently or anytime in the past few months at least)

One other clarification - this is not just @cvspharmacy. This is most of country's testing. The fault is on a larger systems. But really, the tests should not even be offered when the wait time to results is 6+ days. It is misleading. And this is something CVS could help with.
