FUNDING THREAD: Info about the Culture Recovery Fund now live, @dcms & @hmtreasury’s £1.57 billion support package for UK culture and heritage. Plus, we confirm what we’re doing with existing budgets to support arts and culture in England 👇

⭐️ CULTURE RECOVERY FUND: GRANTS. Application information now live. A £500 million programme providing financial support for cultural organisations during the #Covid19 crisis, across England...

... Applicants can apply for grants of £50,000 to £3 million; and the fund is open to applications from Monday 10 Aug to Fri 4 Sept. Applicant guidance (incl. Large Print and Easy Read formats) and FAQs here: artscouncil.org.uk/CRFgrants

⭐️ CULTURE RECOVERY FUND: REPAYABLE FINANCE. £270 million for long-term loans of £3 million+. Open to charitable and commercial organisations. Organisations can apply to either recovery grants, or repayable finance, not both. More info will be published soon.

⭐️ CULTURE RECOVERY FUND: GRASSROOTS MUSIC VENUES. Emergency support is available now, totaling £2.25 million, for grassroots music venues at risk of permanent closure. Apply by next Mon 3 Aug: artscouncil.org.uk/funding/emerge…

⭐️ #NationalLottery Project Grants open! Budget of £75 million (up £18 million since #Covid19). Changes include time and space to think and prepare for future work, more opportunities for museums and libraries, and no match funding needed. Info: artscouncil.org.uk/projectgrants

⭐️ We've confirmed that Developing Your Creative Practice #DYCP is returning this Autumn. Helping creatives step up their work in new ways - with a bigger budget of £18 million (up from £3.6 million before #Covid19).

⭐️ Finally, we know that freelance workers in the sector, from technicians to producers, have also suffered. We’re investing an extra £2 million in funds that support these workers. More to share on this v soon.
