Almost to the New Hampshire border, blasting Sparkle. Life is g⭕⭕d.
Made it to Maine!
Proof I am not on this trip alone.
Meal 1: Lobster Shack in Ogunquit, ME. Lobster 🦞 roll with coleslaw and ridge chips.

This place is adorable. I think im going to like it here.
Maine is pretty great. I can't believe I've spent most of the summer so far hold up in my aprtment. The next 10 days are going to be (Sound on if you like the GD).
I had no idea how badly I needed this vacation until I got here. Expect a lot more photos of nature and lobster roll reviews.
Our campsite for night one is a few hundred feet from this beach ⛱ along Lake Sebago just outside of Portland. 🤗

Just chilling.
I've been in Maine for less than a day and already living in a city feels like a lifetime ago.
Well, today has been a day. A good day. One of the best days I've had since we went on lockdown mid March. Tomorrow, Portland and then Acadia. I will happily be tweeting vacation nature positivity for as long as I have service. Stay tuned and goodnight moon. 🌛
Cucumber-Pineapple sparkler, 6 types of local oysters (list in photo), brown butter lobster roll (in a sticky bun), fried fish sandwich
🦞 roll was small but *delicious*, the sticky bun really enchanted the texture

Just got to our campsite in Acadia. This spot bangs. 🤩 Sunset 🌇 and setup ⛺ pics to come.
Waking up to this everyday is going to be nice.
No filter needed.
Safe to say the zoom on my phone's 📱 camera 📷 lives up to it reputation. If I had a tripod it would be a bit clearer. But still. 🌔 100 optical zoom ftw. 💪
Oh hey!
Cadillac Mountain ⛰
Jordan Pond.
A hyperlapse video going down Cadillac Mountain ⛰
Just swam out to that rock. Its called Goose Rock. [Insert Goose joke]. The water was cold af.
We broke out more lights tonight. A rack of Hawaiian BBQ ribs are slow cooking on the grill. Yes, things are going as well as it sounds.
We're about to go on a boat! (No not one of those yachts)
Waiting for our friend with their boat🚢 ⚓ 🛳 , there are worse places to have to wait.

Mmm ⛰
I take a picture of the sunset at our campsite every night as we eat dinner. It doesn't get old.
#Isaias update. With our campsite perched on a cliff overlooking Somes Sound we are going to pack tonight to avoid packing when the storm is at its worst. We're headed to the White Mountains next. Gametime decision tmw if we AirBnB for a night.
Everythingis going to be alright. Just getting out of the city, out of my aprtment and almost forgetting that I am furloughed, during a global pandemic, and economic depression has been unbelievable for my mental health. I laugh at the "problem" of weather.
Just saw a bald eagle 🦅 as I was eating my breakfast. Not enough time to snap a photo, but thought you all should know.
Meal 5: The Traveling Lobster. Bar Harbor, ME.

The rocking horse is actually normal size, I am just really tiny.
Idk if you guys have heard about this whole #Isaias thing. Instead of packing up wet gear tmw we got an AirBnB most of the way to the White Mountains (our next stop). Apparently Hurricane 🌀 = #DinnerAndAMovie ⭕. Tomorrow Mt Washington, tonight Gamehendge!
Maine is so boss. 🔥

Did a photoshoot to support @HeadCountOrg with my HC themed @saxxunderwear. Thanks to HC sponsor Saxx for the awesome draws and @KEEN for my boots! (Click to open 📷 s)
If you know anything about my flora preferences (which if you dont are qe really friends?) you would know my favorite plants are ferns and my second favorite are white birch trees. So for me this hike has everything. 🌿🌳🤩😍
Top of Middle Sugarloaf Mountain.
Find me something more peaceful than a grove of baby white birch trees in the middle ld a forest. I'll wait.

Vermont, I am in you.
Boulder Beach State Park, VT.
Osmore Pond, New Discovery State Park, VT.
Date night.
Stars man, they're out there.
I had a visitor this morning.
Started a whittling project. I am hoping to make something cool. Most likely it will end up as a pointy stick. 🤷♂️
If you dont have a roof rack are you even from Vermont?
Waterfront Park, Burlington, VT.
The Fish from Vermont.
I finished my whittling. Its a back scratcher. Notice the scalloped and grooved detailing work on the handle, the buffed and sanded middle section, and of course the expertly notched scratching end. All was done with a Swiss army knife. Free trade

Its so weird watching TV and movies where people are living and interacting like things use to be. I miss those times.
Its so hard to watch pre covid TV or movies without thinking, "what are they doing, thats way to close, they are sharing [food, cups, anything], its an indoor event RUN!" Just to be clear that is all TV and movies, I dont think much of anything has been produced in the covid era.
Watching French people kissing hello on a TV show the other night was so triggering. Like, thats not allowed!
Does anyone in HR or hiring actually read cover letters? I have nothing to say relative to my competency. Sure if you are a tech company looking to find a work-culture fit I guess get wanting to know "about me." But law firms, wouldn't you rather just have a legal writing sample?
Why do I have to sneak in backdoor brags, quirky experience, and platitudinal antidotes into an awkward paragraph about how I can make their company better? If an employer is interested aren't they just going to google me?
