THREAD: CST is extremely concerned about comments made by @BristolUni Professor David Miller about CST at an event on Tuesday evening organised by the group Labour Against the Witch hunt.
He claimed CST is "at the forefront of pursuing the witch hunt. A group which is unable to distinguish between anti-Zionism & antisemitism which purposely blurs together those two concepts in order to pursue the left, that’s been its raison d’etre… since it was created" 3m49s 
Miller then stated: "So the idea that people like that should be engaged in constructive dialogue is a fantasy, these are people who must only be faced and defeated". 4m18s
CST is a charity that works to protect British Jews from antisemitism, including Jewish students. Professor Miller has power & authority & a duty of care over Jewish students at @BristolUni. What does he mean by saying CST must be “defeated”?
Miller also said "The Zionist movement and the Israeli govt are the enemy of the left, the enemy of world peace and they must be directly targeted". He also called the British Government “the enemy”. This language is disgraceful and dangerous.
We also note that Prof Miller did not intervene when another speaker, Norman Finkelstein, described disgraced Holocaust denier David Irving as "a very good historian, I don’t care what Richard Evans says, he was a very good historian.”
CST will be making a complaint to @BristolUni about Prof Miller, not for the first time. If @BristolUni had taken our previous complaint seriously, perhaps they would not now be further shamed by these latest appalling comments
