Last week on Holocaust Memorial Day the proscribed far right terrorist group Feuerkrieg Division released photos in their chat group, showing posters that one of their supporters had put up on UK streets. They tried to hide the exact location - this is how we identified it 🧵 The posters were disgusting: violent images of blood-spattered swastikas and gun-wielding figures with slogans declaring “White Revolution” and “Day of the Rope”. They were on lampposts and electricity boxes on a public street, intended to cause fear and alarm.

CST completely rejects the claim in today's BBC report that CST confirmed to the BBC on 2nd December that an anti-Muslim phrase had been spoken on the Chabad bus that was attacked on Oxford Street. CST was not asked for any such confirmation by the BBC and was in no position to provide any confirmation: we had no prior knowledge of the allegation and had not sought to confirm it with any of the witnesses or victims at that point.

THREAD: How to deal with online anonymity in a way that protects people who need to hide their identities, while limiting the ability of bad actors to exploit anonymity to abuse others? Read on for a proposal from @CST_UK and @antisempolicy Our proposal recognises that banning anonymity completely is neither desirable nor practical, but also that anonymity is part of the problem of online abuse. Crucially, it would force the platforms to take ultimate responsibility for anonymous content

Let's take a look... Image Former leader of Al-Qaeda Osama Bin Laden (OBL), March 2009: “Borders must be opened by force so as to obtain all the necessary requirements to liberate the entire Palestine from the river to the sea, God willing.” Image

THREAD: CST is extremely concerned about comments made by @BristolUni Professor David Miller about CST at an event on Tuesday evening organised by the group Labour Against the Witch hunt. He claimed CST is "at the forefront of pursuing the witch hunt. A group which is unable to distinguish between anti-Zionism & antisemitism which purposely blurs together those two concepts in order to pursue the left, that’s been its raison d’etre… since it was created" 3m49s

The lecture on Islamophobia by @BristolUni's Professor Miller referred to in the @Telegraph story was the subject of a complaint from CST in March as it contained serious untrue allegations about CST. Despite repeated efforts to engage our complaint remains unresolved /1 The lecture included this slide showing mainstream UK Jewish orgs & individuals in a network under "Israel government". In context of a lecture about Islamophobia this echoes conspiracy & dual loyalty tropes. It is extremely disturbing that this was taught to students /2
