It has been five months since the #Covid_19india has started to grow. It has been 130 days since the first #lockdown was imposed. From 606 cases on the first day of lockdown, we have now 17.50 lakh cases. A thread on how it has progressed so far....
As on 1st August, 2020, Recovery rate in India is 66%, active cases stand at 32% and casualties are 2%. Great news is that, India reported highest recovery yesterday of 51,255 cases. This ensured that active cases increased by only 2627 yesterday. Image below: 
The Western part of India (Madhya Pradesh included) currently shares 33% of the case load, which is an encouraging sign if compared to previous months. A look at the case share of the west:
The North is showing significant improvements in recovery and has 13% of the total case load.
With lower number of cases, the North-East stands at 5% of the case load. But considering the population, number of cases are higher.
The South showed some resilience in the month of April and May, but it is currently having highest case load in the nation of 36%
The East has 14% cases share despite the extended lockdown. But currently, the change in recovery is very encouraging
Average number of people infected daily have increased by 2.72 times in July as compared to June.
Average daily recovery has increased by 2.82 times in June as compared to July, a tad bit higher than number of people infected daily
Although not a very good sign, avg no. of deaths have increased by 1.54 times as compared to June, quite lower than increase in total cases.
And finally, due to higher recovery and lower increase in deaths, daily increase in active cases is about 2.63 times as compared to June. Hope one day recover is thrice with small amount of change in total cases. India will be truly Unlocked then. THE END
