the enormity of the current depressing situation and the heavy lifting required for the post Covid-19 recovery. Delinquencies and looting are planned in his office by his trusted assistant!! And yet he is "feeble" on what to do as COSATU charges.

I would like to to pay particular attention to the following.
1) The nation has gone through unprecedented stress since March. Evidence shows this will continue well into 2022.
2) The manner in which government managed the lockdown with absurd regulations
in many cases turned people from anger to being gatvol with the ANC

I have stated repeatedly that unless Purpose is clearly articulated the business model risks failure. For SAA the fundamental question is whether the exercise aims at "restructuring" current de facto dead SAA OR "recreating" a new SAA out of ashes of SAA?
The former is irrational uder current and foreseeable operating context. The imposition of pre-fixed labour cost of 3000 employees is a death knell.
WRT the latter, everything must be based on a greenfield approach. Therefore imposition of pre-fixed labour
costs renders the exercise irrational. Until market studies are complete and a fitting route network is determined, a business model can't be fixed. Traffic projections in the BRP model are unscientific and baseless.
