In my Grandfather's collection was an old film strip.
'Scenes on the narrow gauge lines of the Victorian Railways'
The index was lost.
Some of the slides are easy to identify, others not.
Eg. #25
This is coming into Beech Forest on the line from Crowes.
Others harder
15A about to depart from Whitfield.
King Valley (Wangaratta-Whitfield Line 2'6" Gauge).
Very interesting. Well known 8A had a stove pipe chimney but not 9A. There are at least 3 NAs in this view. This is probably prior to scrapping. 4 NAs including 9A were scrapped 1953/54. Others scrapped were 15A, 11A, 17A. Probably c. 1952.

Gould, Walhalla line. Australia day 1938.
' Back to Walhalla ' special. G42 was away for maintenance so double header NAs were permitted.
