Good morning Outtrim!

Outtrim banch line was 6 mile (10 km) long, connected with the main line near Korumburra railway station. Was for coal workings in the Outtrim area. Opened to Jumbunna 1894, Outtrim 1896. Outtrim to Jumbunna closed 1951, Jumbunna to Korumburra closed 1953. Image

Good Morning Strzelecki !
Branch line from Koo Wee Rup, ~30 miles (49 km).
Opened 1922. Section Triholm - Strzelecki closed 1930 due to a 'swaying' trestle bridge which VR decided to not repair. Yannathan to Triholm was closed on 7 August 1941.

Strezlecki line was also known as McDonald's Track Railway.
Bayles to Yannathan closed on 15 April 1950. The line to Bayles was kept open until 4 February 1959 to serve a butter factory.

Hello Balranald !

Interesting railway 5' 3" that extended 120 miles into the Riverina region of NSW. Balranald branch line was opened on 26 March 1926. Building of the line was sanctioned under the Border Railways Act 1922.
