According to the new guidelines, bringing and returning new recruits, visiting acquaintances or going out to eat will be allowed provided strict measures will be taken and the heya master approves. Shibatayama says people should relax a bit after a long isolation.

However, the NSK still wants to keep the reins tight. The guidelines will be reviewed every two weeks, and by mid-August, all rikishi will undergo antibody tests again.
