@Hadithoftheday Surah Baqarah.
It consists of total 286 verses. It is second chapter of Qur'an. It is Medinan Chapter (revealed in Medina).
Surah Baqarah contains one of best and powerful verses of Qur'an i.e Ayat-Al-Kursi in verse no. 255.
Baqarah is called "The cow" or "The calf" in english

@Hadithoftheday Surah al-Baqarah (Chapter of the cow) is the second Surah in the Quran, and the longest Surah in the Quran. It is also the most comprehensive Surah in the Quran. It covers almost every aspect of Islam. In many ways, it is a summary of the rest of the Quran.

@Hadithoftheday Surah al-Baqarah also has a lot of virtues that have been authentically narrated in various hadiths. It contains the greatest verse in the Quran which is Ayat al-Kursi, (Muslim 810)
The Prophet ﷺ said, “Satan flees from a home in which Surah al-Baqarah is recited.” ( Muslim 780)

@Hadithoftheday The first story mentioned in Surah Baqarah is that of Adam A.S & Shaytaan, and Shaytaan’s refusal to bow to Adam A.S, which was the first act of disobedience against Allah.
This story teaches us about the origins of mankind,beginning of evil,dangers of arrogance & purpose of life
