@Hadithoftheday Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
The prayer in this Masjid of mine [in madina i.e Masjid An nabawi] is more excellent than a 1000 prayers in any other place except for the Masjid al-Haraam [in Makkah], for the prayer in the Masjid al-Haraam is 100,000 times more excellent.(Musnad 14694)

@Hadithoftheday Allah made them a Haram (a sanctity) wherein it is not permitted to shed blood,not permitted to cut a tree,not permitted to chase or scare game animals; not permitted to cut shrubs; it is not permitted to pick up a lost item not belonging to you except of returning back to owner
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Quran regarding Makkah,
“I swear by this city (Makkah)” [al-Balad 90:1]

@Hadithoftheday There is also a mosque which was destroyed by order of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ . It is called as "Masjid Al -Dirar".It was in Medina. Masjid al-Ḍirār was a mosque built by hypocrites in Medina which was later destroyed by the order of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
@Hadithoftheday Masjid Al-Dirār was built to cause disunity among the believers, promote hypocrisy and it was a base for disbelievers as well.

"And there are those [hypocrites] who took for themselves a mosque for causing harm & disbelief & division among the believers and as a station for whoever had warred against Allah & His Messenger before

@Hadithoftheday The Dirar Masjid was located near Quba masjid & was built by Abu Amir,who was a Hypocrite.They built this mosque to gather the sympathies of Muslims so they can freely plan new traps for Muslims at that time.When Prophetﷺ came to know about their plans,he ordered to demolish it
