I haven’t been to Lebanon, but in MENA (in General), their culture(s) don’t really follow the old ‘Gym Coach’ tactics of “Fight it out and be done with it...”
Where there is conflict, it’s not quickly forgotten - indeed, there are villages that are in conflict today...

... over indiscretions that occurred generations ago! The young ppl fighting them today weren’t even around when they occurred, yet they fight.
So... when I see them take to the streets against Hezbollah so soon after the explosion (rather than point at 🇺🇸 🇮🇱) I get excited.
