Trivandrum Child Development Centre charts widely accepted as standard charts by all the Paediatricians and paediatric neurologists for assessing the child's Development.
There are two types of development to be assessed in a child
1. Language Milestones
2. Physical Milestones
These two needs to be observed timely in a growing child.

How to use the charts
1. Check your baby's age against the milestone and ensure if the child has reached the said milestone.
2. If the baby has reached the milestone it is well and good.

3. If the baby hasn't, then try teaching the baby to spell or show that gesture for the movements. Try doing the motor movements voluntarily so that they get the child a movement to hatlbituate and finally they do it voluntarily.
4. Do not delay if you baby has missed a cluster of milestones for a big span of time. If you observe this kind of prominent dullness and inability of child to hear properly and reach milestones please consult a PAEDIATRIC NEUROLOGIST asap or Developmental Pediatrician
5. Continue re exercising the milestones in the baby until they remember and are quiet comfortable with the movements.
6. Language may be delayed but atleast 1st words or sounds should be observed in 9 to 12 months. If there is a delay u have to keep efforts to make them respond

7. Any language milestone not reached even at 15months should be seeing your DEVELOPMENTAL PAEDIATRICIAN or PAEDIATRIC NEUROLOGIST.
