The owners of Alfa Bank claim DAN JONES, the former Senate Intel staffer who worked with Steele and Fusion GPS, is avoiding service of a subpoena for his testimony in a lawsuit against Steele.

They say process server staked out Jones' house for 25 hours. courtlistener.com/docket/6163126…
Jones formed the non-profit Democracy Integrity Project after a meeting with Fusion GPS in January 2017 to continue Trump-Russia investigations.

John Podesta helped set up fundraising meetings for the project.
Jones investigated the now-debunked allegations about covert server links between Alfa Bank and Trump Org. According to New Yorker, an unnamed Senate Intel Democrat approached Jones to ask him to look at some Alfa data. newyorker.com/magazine/2018/…

EXCLUSIVE: Steele Source Had Meeting In Russia At Crucial Point In Dossier Saga

A deputy director at Russia's ministry of energy confirmed to me he met with Igor Danchenko and a journalist several days before the first memo of the dossier. dailycaller.com/2020/08/07/igo…
The journalist is Ivan Vorontsov, an editor for a Russian banking magazine.

Vorontsov posted on Facebook that he met with Danchenko and the Russian official ahead of the SPIEF forum.
Vorontsov also posted that Danchenko was his outlet's "special correspondent" at a Nov. 2018 Russia-British business forum.

Danchenko's name tag listed his affiliation as Sidar Global Advisers, but the owner of that firm tells me they didn't send Danchenko there.

The FBI memo of interviews with Igor Danchenko sheds light on the sourcing for the Steele dossier. But it also provides contradictions about the involvement of Sergei Millian, who was reported to be a key dossier source. dailycaller.com/2020/07/29/ser…
Millian was identified by WSJ and ABC News on Jan. 24, 2017 as a key source for the dossier's most explosive claims (the pee tape, etc.). That happened to be the same day that Danchenko met the FBI.

The question: why was Millian identified early on but not Danchenko or others?
The main inconsistency is that Steele told the FBI and *someone* told the media that Millian was a source for the pee tape claim. But Danchenko told the FBI he isn't even sure if he spoke w/ Millian, and if he did, it was a month after Steele wrote the pee tape memo.
