"Diversity" was the shield activists used to fill the comics industry with social justice activists whose entire purpose was to commandeer who gets to make comic books and the messaging within those comic books.

But like every other business or hobby that gets infested with your type, it can't withstand the combination of controversy or the flight of regular, previously loyal customers. So the lack of interest in the product SJWs excrete eventually kills the hobby and business.
