I am back on the ground at the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office yet again. The crowd is around 150 people. The Police LRAD has already started sending out warnings, threatening the crowd with arrest or tear gas if they enter the property.
Over on 47th and Burnside a "corker" (a person blocking intersections to help secure a route march) was maced by an angry driver. This is an interview with her.
Elsewhere, an individual was badly injured falling off a vehicle. Riot medics got them into a neck brace. Police medics eventually showed up and waved an ambulance in.
No meaningful video here, but a fun new protest chant based on the theme to 'Cops'
The Police spotlight is really focused on Garrison tonight, which I find unsettling. Come on PPB, don't be creepin'.
One fun side effect of our 75 night long uprising is that all police property in the city has every window and door covered in plywood. They have even boxed up the staue of a police dog that sits in front of the MCSO. One might view this as a sign of the department's popularity.
Here we see a Black Lives Matter sign in the front yard of one of the houses that directly faces the Sheriff's Office. I wonder if they might be angry at the police in their neighborhood.
Here is a fun video, so you can see just how directly the sign faces the police precinct.
Lots of people are saying this. In general, morale and energy feel low tonight. There is conflict over the person at the front with the bullhorn. Folks accuse his chants of being repetitive. I see little cohesion tonight.

That said, it is hard for me to see people not getting exhausted eventually. Last week ran me ragged and I was only out for like half of it. Constant nightly violent clashes do break people down after a while.

Nap bloc is more necessary than ever.
For reasons known not to me, the bulk of the crowd has moved down to the vehicle pool entrance in front of the MCSO to start chanting. Energy has picked up a bit.
Last night the cops arrested the guy who usually plays drums, so other percussive options have been thrown into service.
The Riot Grill Percussion Squad continues to be the best thing about the night so far, so here is more of that.
People have a spirited dialogue with the cop on the roof shining a light into everybody's face. That's what this is all about: starting a conversation. Tragic that no one brought Pepsi.
The bulk of the crowd is gone. Things appear to be winding down. Tonight has remained peaceful, because the police opted to mostly sit inside their building, stay quiet, and not shoot at people. Amazing how that works.
