Chris Steele's firm just endorsed this story from a pro-Steele reporter, so it's worth viewing. Notably, the story identifies Igor Danchenko as Steele's source, so that's tacit admission from Steele that that's accurate. Mini-thread. spectator.co.uk/article/was-th…
Steele likes to show people Fiona Hill's book touting Danchenko. Funny enough, Hill told Congress that she she nearly fell out of her chair when she heard that Steele was the dossier author. She said she immediately thought the dossier was bogus, possibly disinformation.
Danchenko undercut the narrative that Sergei Millian was a key source for the pee tape claim and others in the dossier. Danchenko told FBI he maybe spoke to Millian on the phone once. But here Steele (through Paul Wood) suggests that Danchenko is lying.
But Paul Wood (and/or Steele) offer up a convenient explanation for why Danchenko might lie to the FBI.
And here, Paul Wood expects us to believe that Steele has new evidence of another Trump sexcapade.
Steele thinks the dossier is still "damn good" piece of intelligence work that will be vindicated. No mention at all that the Cohen-Prague story has been debunked, or that the Alfa Bank story is false, or that the Gubarev allegation was probably fabricated.
