Now that the Democratic President-Vice President ticket is set, and Vice President Biden with Senator Harris are going to be the Democratic ticket on the November ballot, I figured now is a good time to remind everyone that:
1. You're not just voting for President.
2. You're voting to prevent a 7-2 dangerous conservative SCOTUS majority. Note: 87 year old Justice RBG is single-handedly fighting off all 10 plagues until we get rid of 45. This alone should be enough for historic turnout!
3. You're voting for the next Secretary of Education, Housing Secretary and Attorney General.
4. You are voting for the "down" ballot, as well......to keep the House and to gain majority of the Senate in Congress.
5. You're voting for federal judges.
6. You're voting for the rule of law.
7. You're voting for saving national parks.
8. You're voting for letting kids out of cages.
9. You're voting for clean air and clean water.
10. You're voting so scientists can speak and do something to protect us from and pandemics.
11. You're voting for greater transparency and confidence that the President isn't using your tax dollars as a slush fund for his family and friends.
12. You're voting for housing rights.
13. You're voting for former incarcerated persons to be treated with dignity and assisted to be proud and productive members of society when they return.
14. You're voting for everyone to be able to adopt a child without a lot of red tape.
15. You're voting for Dreamers.
16. You're voting so that there will be Social Security and Medicare when you retire...and in your children's future.
17. You're voting for veterans to get the care they deserve.
18. You're voting for rural hospitals.
19. You're voting so that everyone can have access to affordable health insurance.
20. You're voting for teaching to be treated with respect and to be paid like the heroes they are.
21. You're voting to have a President we can be proud of at any international meeting.
22. And you're voting to prevent the USA from becoming yet another authoritarian regime.
23. You're voting for sensible gun laws.
24. You're voting for children born to Military Troops overseas to still be counted as US citizens.
25. You’re voting to curb homelessness and find solutions to affordable housing.

28. You're voting to protect the rights and safety of our LGBTQ family and friends.
29. You're voting to stop the normalization of white supremacy.
30. You're voting to rebuild a functional CDC to help prevent or eradicate dangerous pandemics like the coronavirus.
I know we can't all agree on everything. Now, this is a two candidate race between Vice President Biden and the current President. Those are our only choices. One of them will be our President as a result of this election.
The Biden-Harris ticket isn't perfect. There is no "perfect" in politics. Just know this, they will be much better than four more years of the current President. We must do all we can to ensure that the Biden-Harris ticket wins!!
President Joe Biden today unveiled a new $2 trillion infrastructure proposal titled The American Jobs Plan. The statement introducing the plan notes that the United States currently ranks 13th in the world
for the quality of our infrastructure, and that our public domestic investment as a share of the economy has fallen more than 40% since the 1960s. It calls attention to the fact that our roads and bridges are crumbling and that our electrical grid keeps failing.
Too few people have access to affordable housing or to the Internet, while our infrastructure for caregiving—a vital part of our lives—is fragile, it says. It promises to unify and mobilize the country to address climate change and the rise of an autocratic China.
In January, Texas Republicans introduced a bill to secede from the United States.
Yesterday, the Texas governor and both senators (including .@tedcruz) asked Biden for an emergency declaration because their private electrical grid failed.
Texas created a privatized grid to avoid any federal regulations. (Maybe instead of building a wall they should have built a better grid... just a thought.)
Several years ago, Cruz voted against federal relief for New England states affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Last year during rolling blackouts in California, Cruz, and several other Texas Republicans shredded California Democrats for supposedly being at fault for the outages.
Texas, a red state, did not go for Biden.
However, President Biden granted the emergency declaration
For everyone upset because the Dems did not call witnesses (I was) here's some clarification from several sources, including Del. Stacey Plaskett:
1) We would not have seen witnesses testify in the Senate, the way we saw them testify in the House during the first impeachment.
The Senate rules do not allow for that. The witnesses would have given depositions, which would have been entered into the record.
2) It was not certain that the possible witnesses were willing to testify. If they were unwilling, subpoenas would have to be fought out
in the courts, and we know that could have dragged things out for weeks, or longer.
3) Because these witnesses had not been pre-examined by the House Managers, they were not certain of exactly how they would testify. We all assume that Pence would have been a great witness

It was only a small thing, but it was important to me.
I worked to help make sure that every vote, EVERY VOTE, was properly cast and counted. I trained for and worked the Voter Protection lines for ALL voters.
I answered questions and logged issues and looked up regulations and doubled checked registrations and ballot acceptance without prejudice for party affiliation.
I did the right thing, in the right way, for the right reasons.
And now this President, along with 126 members of Congress, are saying that my work was a part of, and party to, a fraud. That I helped rig an election. That my work was dishonest and dishonorable. Along with all of my fellow Voter Protection workers,
