To all NGOs/Community Groups/Platforms we work with, we urge you to embrace a social enterprise outlook that's based on the ABCD model. Less full dependence on aids/grants, more focus on engaging communities to create wealth/value/solve problems using their comparative adv/assets

#1 existential threat we face as a society is POVERTY. It shows in youth bulge/high unemployment rates/insecurity. The focus of some NGOs wholly dependant on foreign grants are often "alleviation of poverty", we must displace this to WEALTH CREATION/Localized root problem-solving

E.g For projects on how to #EndPeriodPoverty

Rather than simply go to poor/vulnerable/under-served communities to share sanitary towels, we should also teach people how to innovate & produce reusable pads/hygiene products using materials readily available/accessible/affordable

E.g For projects that speak to "Empowerment," especially of women/youth, we shd focus less on a benevolence "hand out" approach & more of a hand up/sustainable model that transfers skills, creates cooperatives to access funding, sets up cottage industries, produces, gives agency.

We have to help communities and vulnerable groups to address the root issues/barriers that prevent them from being innovative, productive wealth and value creators. Rather than programs that entrench unhealthy co-dependencies. The aids approach is broken. We have to innovate now.

We have to be able to monitor/measure/evaluate how interventions move groups of people out of poverty to stability and then socio_economic_political agency/prosperity/freedom, respectively.

E.g. School/Edu interventions shd include school farming/skills/entrepreneurial trainings

A key part of intervention in communities is providing resources/tools/education to people so they become active/engaged/informed citizens and hold all their leaders accountable. We shd focus less on Go-Fund-Me approach. Community efforts shd complement Govt and NOT displace Govt
