Independence Eve in New India:

Last night at 9:30pm, I got a call from an unknown number saying “I’m standing below your building with a weapon. Today is your last day & I’m going to finish you. Police can’t save you. Say goodbye to your family and come downstairs”.

I called my police security detail downstairs & he wasn’t there (probably never was). They still combed the area & deployed extra patrolling. The police were super amazing.

The number was tracked later. Found that it belongs to this BJP worker who lives not too far.

Further investigation shockingly revealed that there’s already an FIR against him for r*pe filed by a woman in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

He’s being tracked down.

Meanwhile his (now-deleted) Facebook profile shows he worked at the fancy restaurant @YauatchaMumbai

Imagine how much this cancer has grown - these people could literally be people you face & interact with everyday.

This is how my “Independence Day” started. So much freedom, liberty, & independence indeed.

That’s why we MUST keep fighting no matter what!
