Notre Dame had everyone test before they came to campus

Only 0.28% tested positive

Since opening, 12% of tests are positive

To be clear:

1) 0.28% positive rate is among the 11,386 tested before campus opened. 33 tested positive & were told to stay away

2) 12% positive rate is among the 508 tested since campus opened. 58 new cases identified after students returned.

Notre Dame has also barred off-campus students, most of those infected, from entering the university

This protects those students living on campus

Tough luck for the local residents of the student neighborhoods, who are now living in a hot spot

Not amazed that people don’t get it. Amazed the government isn’t doing what it needs to.

In Italy people didn’t get it - their leaders bullied, shamed, and forced them into isolating.
