2. Be concise and concrete when highlighting your roles, experiences, and results. 2 or 3 bullet points for each job listed is okay. Be specific about your responsibilities and accomplishments, using numbers whenever possible to show results.

3. Use action words to describe your experience. Effective action words include: led, initiated, proposed, developed, conducted, presented, hired, grew, researched, mastered, delivered, determined, etc.

4. Work memorable "icebreakers" into the personal section at the bottom of your resume. Employers often read resumes from the bottom up. You want to capture their imagination with a few memorable descriptors.
