I have ONE fire to tell you about: #HennesseyFire.
Sonoma County report follows this one.

✅Total size Complex (3 fires) is 325,128 acres (up from 314,207)
✅17% containment total (up from 15%)

✅4 civilian injuries
✅30,500 structures are threatened
✅845 have been destroyed (up from 560)
✅231 have been damaged (up from 125)

📌Fire starts that jump over containment lines are “highly resistive” to control due to drought ridden, dry fuels.
📌Fires spreading up to 1.5/mi per hour, up to 25ft flames
📌Fire spots are jumping 1/2 mile ahead on average

Started by lightning strike 8/17 near Lake Hennessey. Merged with 7 other fires.

🔥North half is still fairly active. SE side creeping N to Hwy 16, as predicted by CAL Fire, about 2 miles S of Hwy 116.
🔥Progress on tampering down activity on the S, SE, SW near Napa, Vacaville, Fairfield, Atlas Peak.

🔥N side still active. In Napa Co fire was very active around Aetna Mine Rd
🔥Fire also may have crossed Hardin Rd (or very close to it). Still way E of Chiles Pope Valley. Gotta keep it that way.
🔥Stopped air support near Aetna Springs due to heavy smoke.
