This week in QAnon, 22-29 August: I'm starting a weekly thread of the biggest posts in QAnon communities, which will hopefully give us an idea of the narratives QAnon believers are focusing on during the campaign and also the numbers they get on social media despite restrictions
The most popular QAnon post this week is one of the biggest I've seen in the time I've been checking QAnon communities. It's a #SaveOurChildren Facebook meme posted three days after the company took action against more than 700 QAnon groups and 100 pages. It has 120,000 shares
Next is a TikTok video by a young QAnon activist who claims Billie Eilish "symbolises everything satanic to our youth" and has "666 on her head". It also claims Joe Biden is "part of a satanic cult and a huge paedophile sex-trafficking ring".
It has 220,000 views.
Then there's a video by none other than QAnon influencer Amazing Polly who says the recent increase in media coverage of QAnon is because "the cabal is panicking". It has over 200,000 views on YouTube and Facebook
Next is this post on a Canadian group about some positive media coverage of last weekend's "Save Our Children" marches around the world with 62,000 shares
Then there's this Instagram post, again from #SaveOurChildren marches, with 26,000 likes. I don't know the bloke who posted it, but he's got a verified account
This video of last weekend's #SaveOurChildren march in Dublin was posted by a well-known QAnon Facebook page a day later and has so far racked up 250,000 views
This music video features a number of claims about Covid-19 and masks, but it also claims Joe Biden is "sniffing hair and groping kids all day". It was shared by a QAnon Facebook page and has 192,000 views and 7,300 shares
This tweet by QAnon influencer Major Patriot has 6,000 retweets and 28,000 likes
This meme about Hillary Clinton going to prison was posted by a QAnon supporter and got 6,000 shares. It was picked up and shared by Ted Nugent three days later, adding another 4,000 shares to the tally
This video, posted by one of the biggest QAnon accounts on Instagram, bizarrely claims drag queens are a threat to children. It has not been flagged or fact-checked by Instagram. It has nearly 100,000 views
And this Facebook meme was posted by a QAnon page and received 2,300 shares. I will try to keep this up every week. Hopefully, it will clarify we're way past amplification concerns with QAnon. It's now an enormous online movement. You come across big QAnon posts? Please DM me!
