In this land, the Aryan-Dravidian conflict was concealed through the celebration of Deepavali, glorifying the killing of Narakasura by Krishna. While dying it was stated that Narakasura appealed to Krishna to celebrate the day as Deepavali.
In the same puranic fashion, Vamana (short statured brahmin), the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, as like Krishna, killed the King Mabali. In the deathbed Mabali appealed to the Lord to revisit his people of Kerala periodically and that was begun as '#Onam'.
In both the puranic figurations, the defeat of Dravidian Kings were made to be celebrated by Dravidian people as festivals. However in '#Onam', the people of Kerala still celebrate the symbol, glorifying the Dravidian King Mabali.
The social revolutionary of Maharashtra, Mahatma Jothirao Phule narrated the 10 avatars of Lord, and their puranic projections as the stages of migration through water stead and terrain by Aryans to defeat the indigenous Sudras, Adhi Sudras.
It was by invasion but through cunning, deceitful tactical means. Phule had propagated the cultural invasion nearly 200 years back in Maharashtra which Thanthai Periyar E.V.R. did 100 years back in Tamil Nadu.

Phule rejuvenated the emerging of King Mabali from the tactical entanglements and popularised the celebration in every nook and corner of the then Maharashtra as cultural renaissance of the indigenous people of the land.
It is akin to the Harvest festival of Pongal of Tamil Nadu. The same philosophical proposition was attributed to Onam festival as narrated by the Dravidian leader Kalaignar Mr. Karunanidhi.
The then president of BJP, Amit Shah appealed for the celebration of Onam as 'Vamana Jayanthi' which was repudiated by the Kerala people en mass by jubilating only the King Mabali. #Onam
The cultural invasion in cunning design as narrated in the background of #Onam festival has be to be propagated by all the progressive forces. It is a must in today's context of imposing ‘one nation, one culture’ by the saffron ruling front.
