THE PARENTS OF THE NOBLE PROPHET SAW ARE IN PARADISE.

وصلى الله على المصطفى رسولا إلى قوم ما اتاهم من كتب يدرسونها وما أتى من قبله من نذير. وعلى آله وأزواجه ومن حذى حذوه وقفى قفوه إلى يوم تبلى السرائر..

The topic treated is very long discussed issue among scholars in Islām, so I implore you to try and read to the end...

It behoves me to make this very long thread about the parents of the prophet SAW, given how Muslims esp (The Salafiyyah sect) would believe they are in hell,
we seek Allah's refuge from calamitous occurrence.

Firstly a hadith was narrated by Muslim in his sahih in the section named (Explanation about anyone who dies as a disbeliever will go to hell) from Abu bakr bn Abi shaibah from Affan from Hammad bn salmah from Thābit from Anass
that a man asked the prophet SAW : where is my father ? he said ; in the hell. When the man turns back the prophet called him and said : My father and your father are in the hell "

This hadith was dully recorded also by Abu dawood, Ahmad, Ibn hibban, Al-baihaqiy,
and was affirmed by Ibn Katheer and Al-huwainiyy and Albani.

The chain of narration:

This hadith has good chain of narration, the narrators are all trust worthy men except for ( Hammād bn Salamah ) whom the scholars of hadith made a lot of comments against him and some of his
hadith especially when he attained old age.
1⃣For this same reason Al-imam Al-bukhari refused to record any of his hadith from Thābit as his memory was lost during his last days.

2⃣ Abu Hātim says about him: Hammād's memory became rusty at his old age" reference ( Al-jarhu
Wat-ta'deel ) Abu hātim Volume 9 page 66

3⃣Al-imam Az-zailaeeh says: when he - Hammād- grew old he his memory became rusty, so it is of caution and prudence that his hadith not be considered when there are other hadith more sound than his" ~~ Nasbir Rāyah , 1/285
And of course this hadith has other compatriots sounder than it, and its strictly against the preaches of the Qur'an as we shall explain in sha Allah.

4⃣This hadith is a odd hadith ( Āhād ) and in the science of hadith world we regard any Āhād hadith to be invalid
whenever its talking about creed (Al-aqeedah) and Deeds ( Al-A'amāl )only lastly the hadith was narrated by only Imam Muslim among the 6 sound hadith( الصحاح الستة ) and this is also a fall in the grade of a hadith, though They might both narrate a hadith that
may also be non considerable one.

5⃣The said Hammād narrates hadith with meaning and not with exact words, same reason why Al-Bukhari had to turn away from his hadith, and even Muslim refuse to narrate from him in Islamic principles ( الأصول ) except from Thābit.
Context of the hadith:

To further buttress that the hadith cannot be considered we look into the text of the hadith:

1⃣ There is contradictions in the statement " My father and your father " as implies by the hadith, it could only be fetched in the narration of Hammād -and you
have seen who Hammād was- and that's the one picked by Muslim.
But the narration of Ma'mar is more stronger and accurate and it has no such statement.

2⃣The context of the hadith is contravening what the Qur'ān is saying.
Its worth mentioning that even if the hadith is to be considered, the fact that in Arabic we refer Uncle to as father too in most cases, and this is very much common in the language and even in the Qur'ān

1⃣when Allah was talking about prophet Ibrāhim He says:
وإذ قال إبراهيم لأبيه آزر
And -remember- when Abraham said to his father Ezra "
And Ezra wasn't his father but Uncle as shown by history
2⃣ Al-bukhari Narrated in his sahih that the Prophet on the battle of Hunayn when some Muslims was trying to abandon the prophet in the field
because of the intense and fierce war, he said : I am a prophet that's a fact not fallacy, I am the son of Abdul Mutallab "

The question is: is Abdul Mutallab the prophet's biological direct father ? No, he was his uncle.

So in all ramifications you can't drag in Abdullah and
Aminah here with this baseless hadith.

In the narration of Al-Bazzār (3/299) , Al-Bayhaqiy in Signs of prophethood دلائل النبوة (1/191) and At-tabarāniy (16/145), all from Ibrāhim bn Sa'ad from Az-zuhuriyy from Āmir from Sa'ad bn Abi Waqqas from his father says :
"A Arab asked the prophet SAW; where is my father now ? he said in the hell, and the man said; and where is your father now? The prophet said: whenever you walk pass the grave of a kāfir give them glad tidings of going to hell"

And Al-hākim has his own more broad in his book
Mustadrak (4/560) in which he mentioned that the Prophet the Arab was upset and he had to compensate him with the reply (whenever you walk pass the grave of a kāfir give them glad tidings of going to hell)

Ibn Hajar Al-haythamiy made comments on this hadith and deemed it the
most sound among others ~~ see النعت الكبرى of Al-haythamiyy

Now follow me let me tell you why the parents of the prophet are not in the hell and that they are in the paradise :

1⃣The people of Quraish before Islām are known as the people of Distant message (أهل الفترة) they
never received any message from Allah, so they were branded with Ignorance (جاهلية).
Allah has established in countless verses of the Qur'ān that He is not an oppressor and he will never cheat,
وما ربك بظلام للعبيد
And your Lord is not an oppressor to the servants.
And he also affirmed that He never punishes whom he hasn't sent a message, not because he forgot but solely for his mercy upon servants The Qur'an says :

1. وما كنا معذبين حتى نبعث رسولا .. الإسراء 15
And We don't punish until we send forth a messenger.
2. وما أهلكنا من قرية إلا ولها منذرين الشعراء 208
And We never destroyed any people except they had a Warner

3. ذلك أن لم يكن ربك مهلك القرى بظلم وأهلها غافلون سورة الأنعام 131
That's an illustration that your Lord never destroy any Nation when the people are not forewarned
4. وما أهلكنا من قرية إلا ولها كتاب معلوم....الحجر 4
And We never destroyed any people until we gave them a known Book .

5. رسلا مبشرين ومنذرين لألا يكون للناس على اللهmessengersالرسل ...النساء 165
Glad tiding messenger and Warners for there not to be a proof for the people
against Allah after messengers.

To mention few ...

The above verses are enough for a Muslim to ponder over and never make the mistake of taking a hadith over a Qur'ānic injunction even if the hadith is the most sound of all hadith, talkless of this shaky one some sycophants
uses as proof to their evil claim.

Even if they aren't in the Paradise there is no justification for Allah to punish them, He will try them on the last day then judge between them, that's the opinion of some of the Ahlus sunnah Wal jama'ah scholars
Perhaps their prof might be the say of Allah on those same People that weren't sent a warner:
ولكل درجات مما عملوا وما ربك بغافل عما يعملون
To everyone (of them) is grade (reward) on what they've done and your Lord is not unaware of their deeds.
ولكل درجلت مما عملوا وليوفيهم أعمالهم وهم لا يظلمون.
To everyone (of them) is grades (recompense) according to what they're done (deeds) and Allah will reward them in full and they won't be cheated.

Can you pause for a minute and ask yourself this question :
1. What kind of people were sayyid Abdullah and sayyida Amina according to history ?

2. Were they kind people?
3. Was it mentioned they ever oppressed/cheat anyone?
4. Do they falsefully take what doesn't belong to them?
5. Do they have anything immoral to be remembered for ?
And an hadith of the prophet said:
من قال لأخيه يا كافر فقد باء به احدهما.
Whoever says to another person " Oh Nonbeliever " then one of them will take the name in reality.

What it means is that should the person accused of being an unbeliever happened to be a believer then
the accuser becomes the Nonbeliever.

You will end up working yourself towards ibādat and at the end lost your Imam because of a talk you mentioned thoughtlessly.

Again, if you believe they are in believers and are in Paradise you stand to loose nothing.
to Allah is the final judgement. It doesn't affect your faith, it doesn't stop your prayers to be accepted. But the other way is dangerous and can be tantamount to one's lost of imān .. May Allah not count us among them.
Again Imam Annawawiyy when making commentary on the hadith in شرح صحيح مسلم he established that the Quraysh of Makkah b4 Islam all died as Mushrikuun, and that prophet Ismail was sent to the Arabs long before Prophet Muhammad SAW, forgetting the fact that
the message of Ismail went on isolation with the death of prophet Ismail.

But Imam Annawawi was also wrong because Allah's decree is contravening that, because it's clear that Allah never sent them a messenger and He confirms it, Let's ask the Qur'ān.

The saying of Allah:
1. تنزيل العزيز الرحيم 5⃣لتنذر قوما ما أنذر آباءهم فهم غافلون6⃣.....سورة يس 5-6
It is a revelation from The Mighty, The merciful.
To warn a certain people whose Fathers were not forewarned as they were unaware.

They weren't sent a messenger !!!
2. لتنذر قوما ما أتاهم من نذير من قبلك لعلهم يهتدون..السجدة 3
To warn a certain people whom a warner never came to them before you, perhaps they may be guided.

Allah repeated again to show assertion confirmation
3. لتنذر قوما ما أتاهم من نذير من قبلك لعلهم يتذكرون. القصص 46
To warn a certain people whom a warner never came to before you, perhaps they may be admonished.

To further buttress the fact that Allah never sent the Quraysh a warner before Islam, we go to ;

4.وما أتيناهم من كتب يدرسونها وما أرسلنا إليهم قبلك من نذير.....سبأ 44
We didn't give them any book to study -the laws of Allah- and we sent not a warner to them before you.

These verses are a clear illustrations that b4 Islam Allah never sent the Quraysh any book nor messenger. And Allah has rightly stated in Suratul Isrā that : We never punish
until we send a messenger - and u disbelieve.

If you still sit there and want to challenge these clear messaged verses with one RUSTY HADITH solely because it was narrated by Muslim, please I advice you consult a Doctor because you are might look sound but you are sick upstairs
in real sense... May Allah guide us right.
Lastly, let me return to the hadith to brush it away with other hadith stronger and sounder than it, narrated by Al-bukhariyy and Muslim himself..

1⃣On the day of Hunayn the prophet was reportedly said : I am a prophet without dispute,
I am the son of Abdul-matallab". ~~ Al-bukhari 4315

See how the noble prophet is proud of Abdul-matallab his uncle, talk more of his biological parents. If they were to be in the hell he would not associate himself with them after death, why ? Allah answers:
وآذان من الله ورسوله إلى الناس يوم الحج الأكبر أن الله بريء من المشركين ورسوله....التوبة..3
And an announcement from Allah and His messenger to the people that Allah and his messenger are free and far from the idolators.

If the parent were truly idolators why would the prophet
say such in a boasting and proud voice ?

Allah warned against seeking for forgiveness for the mushrikeens be them parents or relatives.

ما كان للمؤمنين أن يستغفروا للمشركين ولو كانوا أولى قربى من بعد ما تبين أنهم أصحاب السعير... التوبة
Its unsound for the believers to seek for
forgiveness for the idolators even if they are relatives after it is confirmed they are a property of the hell.
وما كان استغفار إبراهيم لأبيه إلا عن موعدة وعدها إياه فلما تبين أنه عدو لله تبرأ منه إن إبراهيم لأواه حليم...التوبة
And Ibrahim's Istighfār to his father was only
a promise, but as soon as it became obvious that the father is an enemy to Allah he stayed away from him, indeed Ibrahim is prudent and smart person.

2⃣Muslim narrated an hadith in his sahih Number 2276, that the prophet said : Allah choosed kinānah from the children of Ismail,
He choosed Quraysh from Kinānah, He choosed the tribe of Hāshim from Quraysh and He choosed me from Hashimites"

This hadith implies that the lineage of the prophet is well chosen one not from a dirty source.
إنما المشركون نجس ....التوبة
Surely the idolators are impure.
That's why Buseeri in Al-hamzeeyah will say :
لم تزل فى ضمائر الكون##
تختار لك الأمهات والأباء
Your lineage has been chosen from the best minds of creations (ma specifically.
It's my hope that you open your heart to see the truth and stop dwindling in the wilderness
that would never end...May Allah show us the truth to be truth and bless us with following it, and show us Lies as lies and make us go far from it.

May Allah reward me for what I said right and forgive me for what I said wrong
There are some hadith I try to run away from due to the long they will take to be explained and they use it as proof. Like the hadith that " the prophet seek permission from Allah to seek for forgiveness for his mother and in another narration father but Allah refused him.
The hadith are too ambiguous and shaky. We also have a narration that states that Allah accepted and granted him the request. And the later is even closer to comprehending because the prophet was never misquoted to have said he will cry and beg Allah for intercession haul qiyamah
He won't cry and Allah will say :
سل تعطى واشفع تشفع
Seek and be granted automatically, and intercede and you shall be granted.

But this hadith that was hypocritically classified as sahih by one albani stated that the prophet wept and still was denied.
In contrary, Imam Suyyudiy has a narration that stated that the prophet's request was granted. I know my true MUHADITHUN

May Allah save our Imān from being rust and our hearts from being played with.
فليبلغ الشاهد الغائب فرب مبلغ أوعى من السامع.
هذا والسلام على من اتبع الهدى.
