Last year, American Oversight filed a lawsuit to obtain communications between Mitch McConnell’s wife, Secretary Elaine Chao, and Senate Leadership Fund’s leadership. Deputy Attorney General Rosen, Chao’s deputy at the time, was also named in the suit.

@CongressmanRaja In 2014, Christine Chao contributed $400,000 to Kentuckians for Strong Leadership, a Super PAC from which all expenditures were made in opposition to McConnell’s opponent. Coincidentally, the treasurer of that Super PAC is now treasurer of Senate Leadership Fund.
