NEWS: Joe Biden raised more than $300 million in August, per sources.

How much higher is not clear but it's a record-shattering haul.

One takeaway from tonight's filings: Some of the biggest donations to the Democratic ecosystem — to Unite the Country and America Bridge super PACs — were funneled through nonprofits to obscure the origin of the money....
Victory 2020 — a new joint committee set up by UTC and AB PAC, received $5.7 million from the nonprofit Sixteen Thirty Fund, which @PoliticoScott wrote about last year politico.com/news/2019/11/1…
In addition, the American Bridge PAC received $2.6 million from the American Bridge 21st Century Foundation on 6/30.

The foundation does not disclose its donors.

Sunday was the *single biggest day* on ActBlue in all of 2020 — topping Super Tuesday, debate nights, Biden's revival in S.C.

ActBlue processed $19 million on Sunday. A spokesperson said half went to charities.

The sums of money being given are pretty staggering.

The popular Minnesota Freedom Fund — you've probably seen people posting the receipts — had raised $20 million by Saturday. In its 2018 tax return, total donations had been $110k.
