Some feminists seem to think that we can let conservatives fight this battle without us, because surely, they’re all against it, and will win eventually, right? Not only does this seem a bit feckless, nothing rules out ending up with all major parties supporting gender identity.

Until quite recently, UK women were in a lockout situation, with all their major parties fully supporting self-ID of sex. That changed, it seems, because women’s rights campaigners and some journalists broke through the propaganda and got a factual discussion started.

But our media still won’t speak out honestly, and this is what some conservatives are starting to get up to:

Because for all that gender activists like to call radical feminists conservatives, or accuse us of “unholy alliances,” they like to work quietly behind the scenes, and they’re happy to work with anyone.

That’s how they got the Fairness For All (FFA) Act proposed. FFA would carve out narrow religious exemptions to the gender identity policies in the Equality Act, without challenging any of its false, dangerous premises.

Both FFA and the Equality Act will destroy women’s sports, put men in women’s prisons and shelters, and eliminate single-sex toilets, showers, and change room facilities. It would roll back a century of women’s progress.

Gender activists aren’t wasting their time playing purity politics with each other, or acting too precious to talk to people they might have disagreements with. They’re just criticizing us in those terms, hoping we’ll tear each other apart, while they try strategies that work.

Bonus round: The ACLU is famously nonpartisan, including in their work to normalize pimping and sex buying. They’ll talk to conservatives about that. They’re getting some takers. What they’re not getting? Flak about being “fake” civil rights activists.
