1. Deporting more than 2M people under the flawed premise that people like Stephen Miller could ever be satisfied that the border is secure.

3. Denying counsel to immigrant children in deportation proceedings.

4. Incorporating the Detention Bed Mandate (a giveaway to private prison companies) into the Admin’s budget.

@Tanvim @cecmunoz 5. Spreading 287g Agreements to racist police and sheriff and state trooper’s offices — including Sheriff Joe.

6. Creating and institutionalizing the Orwellian Secure Communities program — even after CRCL had an independent study showing stops/arrests of POC increase w SComm.

@Tanvim @cecmunoz 7. Refusing to return people who were deported illegally and lying to the Supreme Court about the existence of a policy to do so.

8. Intentionally making DACA approvals only 2 years long for the purpose of keeping it over migrant communities’ heads during an election.

@Tanvim @cecmunoz 9. Hanging tens of thousands of Iraqi and Afghan interpreters and contractors who worked with US forces out to dry by not using SIV numbers and breaking the program Ted Kennedy created.

@Tanvim @cecmunoz They can engage in good faith with the challenge Barack Obama gave immigrant organizers, which was “now go out and make me do it” and just stop pretending that the people on the other side whose views they normalize for 30 years weren’t racist, xenophobic bigots. Their choice.
