@BernieSanders Reality: the “#rich” lost a lot of #wealth and #profit generating capabilities, hence many #workers were #fired. However, some #minority among the rich was better able to adjust and improvise, which enables them to lower #unemployment by expanding their #investments.....
@BernieSanders .....society as a whole was damaged by the pandemic, it is not a zero-sum game as uncle @BernieSanders assumes, and the rich boogeyman does not want nor does he have the time to go out targeting your pockets.
@BernieSanders Furthermore, studies are clear that “protecting” workers is not good for productivity (since productivity enhancing technology puts people out of work), and thus the wages of the workers. Wages are further diminished by the temporary and artificial “stability” provided.
@BernieSanders For non socialists who are open to reading actual studies with an open mind, and to consider issues based on facts, please read an academic paper: “Monopoly Rights: A Barrier To Riches (1999)”, and learn from the examples of India, Bengldesh, and Peru.
