3/We need robust evaluations of *effectiveness* for AI interventions. As we move towards RCTs, #spiritAI and #consortAI will be crucial to ensuring robust, quality evidence.

4/We have included 15 (SPIRIT-AI) and 14 (CONSORT-AI) new items in addition to the SPIRIT 2013 (bit.ly/33cDyu3) and CONSORT 2010 (bit.ly/3hij6Ns) items which address AI-specific considerations.

5/The development of SPIRIT-AI and CONSORT-AI was a huge international collaborative effort (full list of contributors in papers) bringing together the #AI #ML4H community & with @EQUATORnetwork @CONSORTing

6/ HUGE thanks to the Working Group and the 100+ international experts who took part in the scoping survey, the Delphi Study, the pilot, and everyone who has contributed and supported this initiative over the last year
