#UB Quarantine Chronicles: I spoke to a University at Buffalo sophomore about her #COVID19 quarantine experience so far.
Her friend tested positive on Sunday. Since she’s from NYC, she got moved to a south campus “quarantine dorm” for 2 weeks.

CONT #UB: The sophomore said: quarantined students are *only* allowed to order food from campus-dinning. They have submit their order by 5pm the day before; saying if you want bfast, lunch & dinner.
If you miss deadline, you can’t order food until the next day.

3 #UB: She also told me there wasn’t any concrete info on what to expect.
Like most dorms, there’s no microwave.

4 #UB: the sophomore told me the conditions aren’t “jail level” but she wishes quarantined students could have food, water and other items (like hand soap) brought from friends/family.
TP, paper towels, disinfectant and deodorant are provided.
Hand soap is not.

5 #UB: Like I said earlier, I was told quarantined students only get 2 water bottles a day. If they want more, it costs $2 per bottle.
The student told me UB has free water filters on campus. Their “quarantine dorm” doesn’t have one.
