Despite having some issues with my documentation at the NYSC office which would mean that I wouldn't get my 9,775 for two months, I still felt like leaving the NCCF state house because of strict rules or else...
Won ti keran mero (they have parked incompartible entities together). I set out to look for an apartment because I had about 20k in my account plus my first allawee, transport and bicycle allowances given on camp. I was good to go.
I got a very nice room around UNIZIK junction and the pay was 25k for a year. I was ready to pay instantly but I forgot my UBA ATM card at the NCCF family house. So I promised the house owner to expect me anytime soon.
As soon as I got to the family house, they were already praying and were directing everyone to join the prayer in the afternoon when my soul was gasping for chilled drinks. Little did I know that it was the day of fasting. And Jesus just began to weep through me.
I was already fuming deep down when asked to stay in the midst of brethren to join a prayer session I wasn't prepared for. The prayers were led in sessions by different people. To be sincere, I wasn't happy to pray.
In fact, I felt like using AFEERI (diabolical disappearance) to escape from the forum when the wicked prayer leaders turned one hour programme to 3 hours plus. I felt like collapsing at a point. Who will rescue me?
Just when the prayer secretary announced that we were rounding up, the Papa of the house came on board and asked us to sit for some minutes before we go for second round of the prayer.
Brethren, I had to received a fake phone call to help my tummy with a smiling plate of Oha soup and Akpu. Then I joined for the remaining prayers and was filled with the spirit.
We new members in the house were asked to introduce ourselves and pick a prayer partner. I hurriedly picked a sickly looking fellow, not knowing that he was the Evangelism Secretary.
See my life outside🙆🏽‍♂️. This guy was just shaking the whole akpu in my tummy while holding my hands in prayer😭😭😭. Is it by force to cast and bind?
I began to rethink my decision ro stay in family house. The evening family altar was dope. It was Varieties Night and I had the opportunity of dropping a dose of my comedy through which many people made friends with me and encouraged me to stay in the family house. If I hear!!!
I left the family house very early in the morning to pay for the apartment I want to rent. I entered through the side of the house and I saw my proposed landlord tying a red wrapper around his waist
With a Calabash filled with liquid substance and being sprinkled around the house I want to rent. My dog didn't hear whistle before dashing off.
So I became glued to the NCCF family house and had to master the act of surviving. It wasn't easy burying my ego while my co-corps members were packing out. I wish I could but I can't kill myself.
I joined the drama unit of the house and I became a strong entity when decisions were to be made concerning my batch. I was well loved in the house and I reciprocated the gesture to everyone around me.
If there was anything I loved doing in the family house after drama and WAKA News, it was cooking in the kitchen. Chai! I was always full of elation each time I was drafted to be on kitchen duty. 😋
The penchant for cooking in the kitchen caused a big trouble on a certain sunday evening.

I was posted to Awka south, the capital of Anambra state. The mood before dismantling OBS gadgets after the parade at the camp was very emotional. Several bonds were broken with hugs and kisses.
People were posted to pitiable places like Ayamelum, Awka North, Njikoka, Orumba North and South, and a few other places. Tears were rolling like water from fish pond.

The final days at NYSC orientation camp, Umunya, Anambra State were quite emotional. The three weeks bonding has birthed emotional ties which degenerated into pregnated tears. Grab your chair to enjoy my gist. Image
OBS gave me privilege to midnight raid revelations of the soldiers. A certain married lady was caught in the bush being straffed by an unknown guy. Before the soldiers could work up to them, they had disappeared like mess but her wedding rings and pant didn't go with them🤦🏽‍♂ Image

I enjoyed my stay in NCCF family house in Ihiala. The Excos were very friendly, loving and accommodating. I began to covet being posted to Ihiala for the care. Image
My host, Bro Oni Timothy, advised me on how to stay safe in NYSC camp. He advised me to display my journalist and editorial skills at the Orientation Broadcasting Service (OBS). This discussion fueled my intent to give my best in the course of the 21 days. Image

If there was anyone who was a victim of flogging in JOGS, I am a living testimony. This week's episode is the final series on my teachers while in secondary school, JOGS. Image
Today's episode shall cover the Principals and Vice Principals and some few teachers I had encounter with that were not captured in my previous episode.
