Women of Belarus never give up. At this moment, several hundred women gathered at the Freedom Square to participate in Women's March. Famous Nina Bahinskaya is also here. Police came, detentions started
Riot police in green uniforms without insignia and in black masks began detaining people. Women stand together and protect each other.
You can see that women are getting more organized. When they face police, they create the human chain (called сцепка in Russian), which makes difficult for attackers to catch people one by one. Also, women are screaming, which has a paralyzing effect on the police.
Unprecedented brutal detentions in Minsk. Dozens of women were detained. The exact figure is yet unknown. Svetlana Tikhanovskkaya urged riot police to stop and threatened with punishment for carrying out criminal orders.
Lukashenka's security services behave like criminal gangs. I don't want to compare to Germany of the 1930s but it's getting close to it. People are trying to rip off masks. Seemingly, they are afraid of being identified.
Last week was one of the toughest for Belarus uprising. Extraordinary violence, hundreds (if not thousands) detained. Police began beating women as well. Despite all that, women still gathered and began marching. Unprecedented bravery and solidarity.

Lukashenka is in trouble. 100-150 thousand are near his residency. Again. And they all chant: "Lukashenka - to police van", "Lukashenka - to the prison toilet", and "Tribunal!" People do not respect their beloved leader :)

(Thread) "Your gathering is illegal" - the police repeated this phrase probably 1000 times today. People gathered despite the ban, threats by the Ministry of Defense, and Lukashenka himself. A whole week, Russian and State media were convincing people that the protest is waning. Image
Lukashenka unified the nation against himself. Even babushkas from my neighborhood no longer trust him. State propaganda empowered by RT does not work. The protest is entirely grassroots—all posters, flags, prepared by people. Telegram channels in charge of coordination. ImageImageImageImage
Protest is getting more mature every day. While Lukashenka becomes pro-Russian, the protest gets more pro-Belarusian. It’s not about president only, it’s about national dignity now. Belarusians hold historical flags, sing Belarusian songs. Belarusians became Europeans at protest
