Just finished @lara_hogan's Resilient Management and really enjoyed it! Here are some of my takeaways:
1. There are four stages a team goes through (and you can jump around depending on the situation)
- Forming
- Storming
- Norming

2. "It takes time and energy to learn things about your teammates, to make them feel supported, and eventually, to work toward that health team state. Don't worry! You are optimizing for balance, not perfection."

3. Lara heavily leans on the work of Paloma Media to help frame key needs in the workplace:
- Belonging
- Improvement/Progress
- Choice
- Equality/Fairness
- Predictability
- Significance

5. There are these great coaching questions for you to reflect on at the end of each chapter. I really found these helpful checkpoints to make sure that I was engaging with each topic.
