Alright, I have watched every game from Week 1.

These are my quick thoughts from each game... 👇

#FantasyFootball #NFL
#HOUvsKC

- O'Brien is the worst

- DJ has BURST

- Duke should never be played in fantasy

- Fuller tgted all over field

- CEH is the real deal. Best looking RUNNER out of this RB class in Week 1. That might be his floor game - SCARY!

- Watkins is going to fool us all again
#CHIvsDET

- On most plays, Monty looked like '19 Monty

- Trubisky looked bad until the last few mins of the game

- Miller needs more tgts

- Kerryon is not a good runner

- AP will be the lead RB as long as he stays healthy

- No Golladay = Problem for DET offense

- Hock 👍
#LACvsCIN

- Mixon not used in passing game yet again

- Burrow mostly looked for short tgts, made rookie mistakes, cannot pitch a ball, arm looks promising

- Boyd = 👻

- Tyrod looked underwhelming

- M Williams = Tyrod's favorite tgt

- Kelley looks GOOD & will be involved
#GBvsMIN

- J Williams played way too much

- Why is Tyler Ervin playing?

- MVS' hands are rough but he gets open

- Adams might get 200 tgts on the season

- MIN has 3 play calls: Run the ball, pass to an RB, pass to Thielen

- All teams with Cook, need Mattison as insurance
#INDvsJAX

- Mack looked great. Sad injury.

- J Taylor is going to be a BEAST. Smooth receiver.

- Hines is going to have 100 tgts

- Rivers looks terrible. He likes P Campbell

- J Robinson looks good... like actually really solid

- C Thompson was invisible. Not playable.
#LVvsCAR

- Jacobs has 0 competition for GL work. 6 tgts! STEAL of the draft.

- Ruggs knows how to get open. Carr was tgting him early. Hurt ankle but great bench stash.

- CMC is still CMC

- The 3 WRs in CAR are all going to have good wks, picking the correct wk will be hard
#ARIvsSF

- That was Drake's floor game.

- C Kirk cannot be relied on in fantasy. Invisible.

- Hopkins in ARI = Hopkins in HOU

- Besides Kittle in the 1st half, Mostert was the only bright spot on the SF offense

- Coleman is the worst RB in the backfield by far
#PHIvsWAS

- Wentz refused to throw ball away, could have had 5 more turnovers, very inaccurate day

- Goedert looks GOOD

- Reagor is going to be a great deep threat. Should have had 2nd long reception.

- Reagor > DJax

- True RBBC in WAS w/ Barber as GL back

- McLaurin 👍
#MIAvsNE

- Snooze Fest. Newton is the only player that kept me awake

- Newton will have double-digit rushing TDs

- Gaskins was the best RB on either team

- J.J. Taylor just might be a thing this year

- Gesicki being Gesicki - lots of opportunity w/ little production
#SEAvsATL

- Wilson doing Wilson things

- Carson hands are SMOOTH. Game script proof.

- Metcalf is ALWAYS OPEN. Could have had an even bigger day.

- Gurley looks slow

- Julio = ALPHA
Before ATL went down 31-12 in 4th QTR:
Julio = 8 tgts/107 yds
Ridley = 4 tgts/56 yds/0Tds
#NYJvsBUF

- NYJ offense is worst in the NFL

- Crowder & Herndon will get many tgts

- Diggs/Allen already connecting often

- J Brown is still a solid weekly flex play

- Singletary/Moss rotated drives (every other). Never will get rhythm if that sticks.

- Moss is clear GL RB
#CLEvsBAL

- Chubb & Hunt both looked great. Just was a blow out & CLE stopped running. Both will be good starts in better matchups.

- CLE passing game is BAD. Can't trust OBJ.

- Dobbin's GL back? Alright. Ingram will need to be highly efficient.

- 2020 Lamar = 2019 Lamar
#TBvsNO

- Brady & Brees both looked bad/old

- Sanders is going to hurt MT's targets (just a little bit)

- J Cook is going to be a top 10 TE

- Stay away from TB backfield until Fournette officially takes over

- Gronk should not be rostered
#LARvsDAL

- M Brown is going to continue to see a big workload w/ that performance. GL back

- Akers looked rough. Saw many carries but had 0 patience to allow his blockers to open up holes.

- Lamb opened often. He is going to be a great fantasy WR by midseason

- Zeke is Zeke
#PITvsNYG

- Jones held his own in a very hard matchup

- Slayton is the WR to roster

- Barkley had a horrendous game & still had double-digit fantasy pts

- Don't play RBs vs. PIT

- JuJu is back

- Diontae's aDOT is still low. Will need lots of tgts to be a good fantasy asset.
#TENvsDEN

- Fant looked great.

- Lock looked improved as passer.

- Where was AJ Brown?

- Derrick Henry's floor game & still had over 100 rushing yds.

- Corey Davis is going to fool many.

PFF put out an article stating that the metrics below were the most important when projecting RBs going from college to the NFL:

Rushing grade
Missed tackles/att
Yards after contact/att
Rec grade
Yds/Route Run

I went back a few RB classes to see how accurate this is. WOW!
I gathered the metrics above for 53 Total RBs - every RB drafted in Rounds 1-4 from 2017-2019 & the majority of RBs expected to be drafted in 2020. (All top RB prospects included).

*All metrics from COLLEGE (NOT FROM THE NFL)*
Then, I ranked them out 1-53 for each metric based on their college stats. (1= best in that metric, 53 = worst in that metric)

I totaled the rankings for each metric, for each player, and calculated the AVERAGE ranking for all of these metrics combined.

There are THREE Second Year WRs that will need a good chunk of extra targets - JUST TO GET BACK TO the receiving yards that they produced in 2019.

Deebo Samuel
AJ Brown
Mecole Hardman

Stick with me here, I am about to throw a lot of math at you...
Yards after Catch/Reception - (YAC/REC)

Hardman - 11.5
AJ Brown - 8.9
Deebo - 8.5

This is not AT ALL sustainable.

Some players are just VERY GOOD at YAC - but I am sorry, not THIS GOOD.
Considering draft capital, people are expecting 100+ targets for AJB & Deebo (not so much Hardman) in 2020.

I went through all WRs with 100+ tgts over the last 3 seasons & averaged out the YAC/REC for the TOP 10 WRs in this category.

2017 = 5.21
2018 = 5.52
2019 = 5.30
