Waiting for US to sanction #Saudi and #UAE for exact same behavior, and worse, leading to murder of #JamalKhashoggi. I can literally replace the words Iran with Saudi here: state.gov/the-united-sta…
To wit: "[Saudi] Ministry of Intelligence tracks dissidents, journalists... for the regime. It has recruited cyber threat groups, front companies, & hackers, & has employed malware to target innocent civilians & companies, & advance the regime’s malign agenda around the world."
And: "[The #UAE] uses malicious cyber attack tools to target & monitor UAE citizens, dissidents, journalists, government employees, refugees, univ students & faculty & employees at intl NGOs. Some ..were subjected to arrest & physical & psychological intimidation by the UAE."

It's *extremely* rare for the Red Cross to issue any public complaint about the mistreatment of detainees, but Israeli abuse and humiliation of Palestinian prisoners was so severe that they broke with tradition to complain:

“Red Cross personnel expressed outrage over the way the Israel Prison Service led the prisoners out of Ketziot on Saturday morning – handcuffed with their hands above their heads, wearing a bracelet inscribed with the phrase, ‘the eternal people never forget’.”
Palestinian prisoners released on Saturday reported severe mistreatment in the days leading up to their release. Many prisoners said they faced death threats, brutal beatings, and deprivation of food and water. Some prisoners suffered rib fractures due to the beatings.

The @idf lied and lied about it until multiple investigations confirmed it was their bullets, with a trigger pulled by a sniper who shot her exposed neck in the narrow area exactly between her helmet and flak jacket.
