FINVIZ Screener Tips: Gems Before The Pump

Select "Unusual Volume" filter in the "Signal" menu at the top. The filters narrow results to stocks with above average volume, and trading just above MA200 - a reliable support/floor for easy assessment of downside risk. Image
"Price" & "Sector/Industry" filters can be altered to better suit your needs & market activity.

"Float" (Shares available to trade) filter is also useful. <50M is my starter. Float is like supply and demand. If supply is low & demand is high, the price will increase...
...as the float decreases. Watch out for news of public offerings, as this will dilute the float, but does create a better potential entry if the offering price is below the market value.
Hover over ticker symbols to see chart preview. Try to find charts patterns with trends near the bottom right of the chart, OR with plenty of room to run before the nearest resistance point. Image
Plenty of good plays may run without this pattern. Always investigate news & SEC filings to find a reason for the current behavior, especially if big down-gaps are near. Look ESPECIALLY hard at biotech stocks - failed clinicals/history of frequent offerings are major flags here.

Another note on SEC filings - Keep an eye out for SEC Form-4 which indicates insider trading. Often times, you can find it on SEC EDGAR before it is displayed on Finviz to get ahead of the curve.

@OnePlus_USA @oneplus @OnePlus_Support Thank you for confirming that you WILL NOT support a customer with a legitimate issue caused by FALSELY LISTING YOUR DEVICES AS CERTIFIED/COMPATIBLE WITH @Verizon. (Thread Cliffs below:)
Cliffs: I ported over to VZ from TMO w/ an OP 8T+ 5G that was not compatible w/ VZ's 5G. I've had/enjoyed 2 OP phones by now, and saw the OP9 Pro was announced as certified/compatible with VZ's network in late Q1 2021. Naturally, I buy one unlocked from OP
All is well at first besides a handful of intermittent stability quirks, no biggie. Eventually I suffer a local network outage and come to find THERE IS NO WIFI-CALLING. The outage lasts 5+ hours, and I can't make/receive calls/texts the entire time.

Vivopower (VVPR) - $10

In love with this multi day runner from last week! The only publicly traded solar company in the UK. All time chart depicts a supernova rally that occurred over the last week, taking it from $3 to $10 in 5 trading session, and back up again today. Image
They've made plans to enter the EV sector, initially focusing on light electric vehicles for mining and infrastructure in Australia. Additional solutions include EV and battery leasing, power retrofits (warehouses and depots) for EV charging and microgrids.
Share price is currently in the bottom 3rd among sector peers. I reckon this could run to $20-50 per share in a matter of time if their operations pan out well.

TA Cheat Sheet: I drafted this after a discussion with a friend about assessing what could be healthy fluctuations in price versus an absolutely damning (yet avoidable) loss due to an impending downtrend. Image
We all experience some anxiety when we enter a trade, and find that it immediately dips in price. These are the signals and indicators I use to determine entry/exit, normal/adverse trend behavior, and maintain my sanity while a share price ranges arbitrarily.
The chart shown is a 3Mo/1D (Rng/Int). I start with this view and scale out as far as 2Yr/1Mo for a broader view of the trend. I use an 8-day EMA as a buy/sell signal line; when price crosses above EMA8, I look for increased volume and bullish MACD convergences...
